Our team recently took a very rainy trip to Harrogate Spring Essentials Flower Show in Yorkshire! This year the show took place in the open spaces of the Great Yorkshire Showground.
Despite the weather, we had a glorious day enjoying the spectacular show of plants on offer and were truly inspired by this year’s gardens. We most definitely would recommend a trip to the Autumn show!
Calmness and Serenity
It is no surprise that the gardens at this year’s show boasted fluttering foliage and a sense of serenity. Over the last year or so our gardens have been a safe haven and a place to relax and escape from reality.
Sunrise by Emma Gillon
In this garden, you will find many low growing evergreens with a spreading habit. This is perfect for a small garden space as you will enjoy green leaves and soft textures without the towering foliage. This will reduce the amount of shade in the garden, making the space feel much brighter and also creating the illusion that the space is bigger.

The Nature Remedy by Faith Douglas
Did you know that just 15 minutes in the calming embrace of a woodland can lower your heartrate?
We spend a great deal of time in our gardens to make them look beautiful. And so, it is equally important to create a relaxing spot to enjoy them! In this garden, we find a shady, secluded spot that is just perfect for a quiet moment. Whilst a garden bath may not be an option, a calm spot surrounded by delicate, woodland foliage is most definitely the answer!
